Reason # 1 – I will live longer.
It’s a given fact that the healthier the average person is, the longer he or she should live. There are many things that I want to enjoy before I go, so adding years to my life is definitely a plus. I owe it to my family and friends to stick around as long as I can.
Reason # 2 – I will feel better physically
Of course, if I’m healthier, I’ll feel better every day. Simple tasks such as tying my shoes will no longer be a hassle. I’ll have more energy to get things done and enjoy life.
Reason # 3 – I will have more self-confidence
Knowing that I have transformed myself into a leaner, healthier human being will really boost my self-confidence. And, if I feel better about myself, then others will naturally fell better about me.
Reason # 4 – I will look better
Maybe that sounds a little vain, but hey, don’t we all want to look better? Just a simple, healthy glow goes a long way. It’s also a plus that my clothes will fit better (as in new clothes!).
Reason # 5 – I will save money
Again, maybe a little vain, but my overall health maintenance cost should go down. Many health insurance companies charge more for unhealthy clients. Life insurance companies certainly charge more if you’re not in the best of health.
So these are my top five reasons why I should lose weight. Now it’s time to get busy and do something about it.
